Taiwan’s chipset manufacturer MediaTek has officially announced the launch of its new processor MT9602. This MT9602 processor of MediaTek will be used in smart TVs after which the TV will get 4K HDR support. According to MediaTek, MT9602 has been designed for real-time video optimization which will also benefit in audio quality.
MediaTek MT9602 supports AI picture quality and AI audio quality. It also supports HDMI 2.1a, Global HDR, and AV1, AVS2 decoders. MediaTek has partnered with Flipkart and Motorola to launch the TV with its MT9602. The partnership will launch TVs with Ultra HD, HD, and Full HD resolution, which is going to be launched on October 9.
The TV with MT9602 chipset will also support the Dolby Atmos surround sound. This processor will also support dual-band Wi-Fi. Also, this processor will be great for gaming. Let’s say Motorola is going to offer India’s first smart TV with this processor on October 9, which will support Android 10.
