Apple announced its new service Apple TV+ during the launch of the new iPhone 11. The company had said that Apple TV Plus will be launched for iPhone users across the world from November 1. The company had also announced that those who buy iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will get Apple TV Plus service for free up to a year.
Apart from iPhone, those who buy iPad, Apple TV devices, Mac or iPod after September 10 will also get Apple TV Plus service for free for one year. On the other hand, those who have old iPhones will have to pay a fee of Rs 99 per month. Apple TV Plus will directly compete with subscription-based video streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hotstar.
In a recent interview with Reuters, Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “We welcome Apple TV Plus in this stiff competition for video streaming. After this service, many will say goodbye to alternatives like cable TV. This will benefit the entire streaming field. ‘
Service launched in over 100 countries
Apple TV Plus has been launched in more than 100 countries around the world, including India. Initially, four TV shows have been introduced for adults, while three series for children have started. In addition, new shows will be launched every month. The morning show, which is featured on Apple TV Plus, can also be seen. Apple has done a lot of publicity on The Morning Show.
